Coalition for Social Justice

At TOPS we define social justice as the courageous commitment to action that recognizes the humanity of everyone and brings about equity for all.

Coalition for Social Justice(CSJ) is a coalition of parents and teachers that organizes and supports a variety of events and programs at TOPS that speak to our mission and build community in practical ways throughout the year.   Goals of the CSJ is to work, together with parents and TOPS staff and teachers, to:

  • Plan and implement school-wide diversity events for students, families, and staff.
  • Support and encourage discussions about diversity and inclusion at TOPS that facilitate understanding and celebration of differences.

To become more involved, or ask questions, offer ideas and suggestions, volunteer with a TOPICS activity or help coordinate one of your own (service project, parents discussion group, social justice themed book club, etc), we would love to hear from you.

Please send an email to TOPS_socialjustice@googlegroups.com.
