    Insurance and COVID-19 Testing Info - May 2020

    Hello families! We hope you are staying healthy and making the best of this time during this stay-at-home mandate. We know it is a challenging time for many, so we wanted to share these health/medical-related resources with you.

    1. If you or your family members need insurance, Open Enrollment for Apple Health (state medical insurance) has been extended until May 8, 2020. You can enroll over the phone by calling 1-800-756-5437. https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/health/locations/health-insurance/coverage.aspx

    2. Drive-thru/walk up testing at Public Health, downtown Seattle. No appointment needed, M-F 8:30 am to 4 pm. Downtown Public Health Center at 2124 4th Ave https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/health/locations/downtown.aspx

    3. Drive-thru testing at Pac Med for registered patients who qualify.     4. Drive-thru testing at The Polyclinic. You must have at least mild symptoms or be a health care worker to be tested. https://polyclinic.com/blog/drive-through-covid-19-testing-now-available

    5. Drive-thru testing at ICHS by appointment only. You do not need to be a current ICHS patient, but tests are limited to those with symptoms. ICHS drive-through.

    6. MultiCare offers free virtual visits with code Covid19. You do not need to be a patient of MultiCare. https://www.multicare.org/virtualcare/.

    7. Seattle Coronavirus Assessment Network self-swab at home
    • Testing people who are healthy and who are experiencing symptoms.
    • Registration for test kits opens at 7 pm daily and is done through online form.

    8. King County Call Center for COVID is also open for questions from 8am-7pm daily at206-477-3977

    9. Rainier Beach Walk up testing site: The testing site will be open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at the Atlantic City Boat Ramp, 8702 Seward Park Ave South, Seattle, WA, 98118. No appointment is necessary.
