    Help TOPS Earn a $15,000 Match!

    There is only a month left for the Fall Fundraiser of the Annual Campaign! You may know it as the "No Bake Sale" or "Fall Fundrive" – it’s all the same! Friends of TOPS needs to raise $225,000 by the end of June and a big part of that is raised during the Fall Fundrive! We have the opportunity to earn a $15,000 matching grant to help us raise $50,000 by December. So PLEASE GIVE WHAT YOU CAN either as a one-time gift, or sign up for a monthly donation

    Halloween Festivities, Costumes and Candy

    Harvest/Halloween parties are determined by each grade level teachers. Students are welcome to wear costumes to school on Wednesday, October 31st. All costumes should be culturally respectful with student’s faces fully visible (no face masks or full-face makeup). Fake weapons must be left at home.

    Post-Halloween: Halloween candy and treasures should remain at home. Please do NOT send candy to school with students or in their lunches. Following are a few links with ideas about what to do with candy loot. Interested in collecting candy at school and redistributing it? Please contact the office.

    Check Lost & Found

    Remember to check for items in lost and found located outside the cafeteria entrance. It is overflowing with many coats and jackets.

    Mark your calendars for the 5th Grade Play!

    TOPS 5th graders are working hard on their upcoming drama performance of "Once Upon a Time ... A Fairytale Mashup." Come check it out on Friday, November 9th at 7 PM in the TOPS Gym/Todd Jamieson Stage. There is a $5.00 per person suggested donation.

    TOPS Annual Book Fair - November 5th - 13th

    TOPS library will once again be converted into a Scholastic bookstore. Funds raised go to help buy books for classrooms and also subsidize book purchases for our students who might otherwise not be able to afford them. The fair will be open before and after school and lunchtime daily. There will be wish lists to purchase books for the library as well as classrooms.

    TOPICS Begins

    TOPICS is off to a terrific start! Elementary students spent this past Wednesday afternoon painting, gardening, doing science experiments, filming news stories, studying bats, coding, making sushi and more!     Friends of TOPS Bylaws Change

    Site Council, as stewards and board members of Friends of TOPS (FOT), will be voting to change the defined fiscal year in the bylaws to reflect our budget year at the next Site Council meeting on November 14. Currently, FOT Bylaws state the fiscal year ends December 31. The change, if approved, will define our fiscal and budget year as ending June 30. Questions or concerns? Contact your Site Council Rep.
