    February 2-3: Tarts for Tops at Grand Central Bakery!

    Grand Central Bakery at 1616 Eastlake Ave, have partnered with TOPS to donate 15% of ALL SALES to Friends of TOPS Remember to tell them that you're participating in the TOPS benefit.

    February 4-15: Enrollment for Incoming Kindergartners and New Students

    Any new student wanting to attend TOPS next year, must complete both the registration and the School Choice forms and submit between February 4- February 15.     February 6: RBG Movie Night In the TOPS Library

    Site Council invites 4th-8th graders and their families to a screening of RBG, a documentary about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Free pizza at 6:15pm & movie at 6:30pm.

    February 8: Last Day to Donate to Planting the Seeds!

    Collection bins are located near the office, last day to donate is February 8th.

    3rd Grade: School Supplies - Project Cool Suggested Items: Crayola Crayons (box 24), Crayola Colored Pencils (box of 12), Pens (black and blue), Wide & College-ruled filler paper, Wide & College-ruled composition notebooks

    4th Grade: Socks – Operation Nightwatch Suggested Items: Ideally new socks, men’s size 5 and up.

    5th Grade: Canned Food – University Food Bank Suggested Items: Canned food with pull tabs (Tuna, Salmon, Soups, Chili, Veggies, Fruit) Granola Bars, Nuts & Nut Butter, Shelf-Stable Milk.

    6th Grade: Toiletries – Urban Rest Stops Suggested Items: small, unused containers of soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable razors and washcloths.

    February 12: Dine Out for TOPS at Pazzo’s on Eastlake!

    From 5 PM -1 AM, come dine out with your friends - delicious pizza, calzones, and beer! A generous 50% of all proceeds for TOPS!!

    February 19-22: Mid-Winter Break Basketball and Gaming Camp

    March 4: Girls on the Run Starts - Spring Registration Open!

    Girls on the Run is a 10 week program for 3rd-8th grade girls. Girls meet twice a week to run and to address topics such as self-esteem, positive relationships, and bullying.     Martin Luther King Jr’s Day of Service TOPICS

    Thank you to the 25+ parent volunteers as well as our 1st-5th grade teachers for another inspiring and impactful Day of Service TOPICS. Students volunteered at a local food banks, protected Puget Sound by picking up trash, prepared sack lunches for Othello Village Homeless Camp, and many other activities honoring Martin Luther King Jr's legacy of service.

    Letter from Seattle Public Schools about Measles - Dear Families, There is currently one confirmed case of measles reported in King County. We do not currently have any cases of measles in Seattle Public Schools. Please monitor your child for signs of measles (fever, diarrhea, coughing, runny nose, red and watery eyes, tiredness with a rash that begins on the face and spreads to the entire body). The best protection against measles for yourself and your children is the MMR vaccine. The MMR vaccine is available from your healthcare provider and for SPS enrolled students at one of our 25 school-based health center sites.
